Fabuła oparta na fikcyjnej historii nastoletnich bohaterów: Bałtyjki Adle i Rzymianina Marka Flawiusza… Poprzez formę komiksu chcemy zapoznać czytelników (małych i dużych) z aktualną wiedzą o archeologii regionu Puszczy Boreckiej. Naszym bohaterom towarzyszą przedmioty i miejsca wzorowane na tych odkrywanych podczas prac powierzchniowych i wykopaliskowych na Mazurach.
Autorem historii jest nasz fundacyjny edukator Piotr Kucharski, a za stronę rysunkową odpowiada graficzka Aleksandra Sieradzka. Z kolei „Słowo zza kulis” i minisłownik napisała nasza wiceprezes Monika Radzikowska. Podziękowania ślemy też do mgr. Tomasza Płóciennika z Wydziału Archeologii UW za konsultację języka łacińskiego.

The story follows two fictional teenage protagonists: Adle, a Baltic girl, and Marcus Flavius, a Roman boy. Through this comic, we aim to introduce readers of all ages to the current state of archaeological knowledge about the Borecka Forest region. The objects and places featured in the comic are based on real discoveries made during archaeological surveys and excavations in Masuria.
The story was written by our foundation’s educator, Piotr Kucharski, while the illustrations were created by Aleksandra Sieradzka. The „Behind the Scenes” section and the mini-glossary were written by our Vice President, Monika Radzikowska. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Tomasz Płóciennik, MA, from the Faculty of Archaeology at the University of Warsaw for his assistance with the Latin language.
